To Master or not to Master

hihi..tapape tittle..

Anyway..lain individu lain perception diorang towards sambung Master.
Dulu mase belaja, saye memang dah tekad tamo sambung blaja da. tamo. tamo.serik da belaja.
Tapi bile da abis degree. Rase macam nak pulak sambung master.

Banyak pendapat yg saye dapat kalau tanye orang pasal master.

1. Parents: Sambung je blaja setinggi yang boleh..
2. Senior: Unless kau nak jadi lecturer, tayah la fikir nak amik Master.
3. Somebody: Engineering ni selalu orang tengok experience, ade Master ke tade tak penting sangat.
4. Schoolmate: Nak amik Master amik, tapi amik part time, sebab kau amik full-time nanti ko rugi     experience kerja.
5. My Ex: Amik la Master, best. Senang je sebenanye. (Oo really..:P)
6. Kawan 1: Kau da ade degree (knowledge)Engineering, buat la MBA pulak. Bole jadi Bos.
7. Kawan 2: Buat ape kau nak sambung Master?

For me, personally saya nak amik Master untuk kepuasan diri. I don't know how to explain. But for now yes, kepuasan diri, I love Electrical Engineering and I wish to see what's more I can learn in this area.

So ya, I will, but soon.
Maybe settle down dulu, I've got a new job, so back to square one, nak biasakan diri dengan new workplace semua dulu, and probably nak cari rumah sewa baru jugak.
So kalau da stabil sikit nanti, akan sambung Master. Target next year.
InsyaAllah.

But just for self-reminder, Ustaz subject Islamic studies dulu pernah pesan,

"Korang semua ni da habis bertahun-tahun belajar kat sekolah, belajar Engineering, belajar Medic. belajar IT, lepas habis degree esok, cari ilmu agama pulak. mana yang dah lupa, cari dan ingat balik. Sebab itu yang perlu diutamakan.."

InsyaAllah Ustaz, InsyaAllah..=)

No Regrets! (^_^)

Alhamdulillah...(^_^)

Walaupun tersangat-sangat-sangat-sangatlah frust sebab tak dapat receive scroll dr Tun Dr Siti Hasmah this year. Bertahun-tahun pray for her health supaya dapat receive scroll from her tapi since past two years dia memang bagi scroll sambil duduk, beribu orang kot, kita pun penat berdiri lama2 kan.  Tapi tetap bersyukur, this year for my session we receive our scroll from Tan Sri Dato' Ir Md Radzi Mansor.
Saturday and Monday was Tun Zaki Tun Azmi.

Budak Letrik line depan skali hokeh.:P
I was number 21.
masuk hall kejap je then terus kena naik pentas dah.haha.

To be honest, Engineering is freaking madness to people like me.
At times, when life turned out very impossible to swallow and when lowest low moments happens, I do wonder if this is NOT what I'm supposed to be doing, and if I were to start again, I should take a different course like, say, a Degree in Psychology or Language or Journalism instead. Because those are among the course that I thought quite interesting and I would've liked.

Because I really don't have any idea which course to take at the first place if I don't take the Engineering course. I can't figure out what's my main interest.
So I just follow the generic path,
Science Stream in high school => Engineering Course in university.

Even after I finish my Engineering Foundation in Malacca I couldn't decide my Major.
That time I registered in Electronics Engineering Majoring in Multimedia. No reason at all, I really honestly don't know which major I should take.

The only reason I can think of is that Multimedia Major have only 2 Engineering Maths subjects. Compared to 4 in Electrical and Pure E majors, and 5 in Telecommunication major.
(Well according to Tele students the 5th maths is not technically Maths, its more to random processing and what not.)
So in Multimedia major 3rd year onwards is more to computer and multimedia subjects.

Then after going through first year, I noticed that I sucked at every computer subjects, C language, programming parts, everything, and I hated the subject. I started to freak out.

So I go through the syllabus again and find which majoring that have fewest computer related subjects, some advice from Academic Adviser and few Electrical friends, and during second year I changed my major to Electrical Engineering.

And that was the BEST decision I've ever made my entire life.

Well at the end, it depends on individual interest, what's easy for you might not be easy for me, what's interesting for you might not be interesting to me. vice versa.

Till this very second, I don't regret a damn thing. Life is what it is. I don't believe in 'what ifs'. Our life has been designed according to our capabilities. We do this because we are capable of handling it.  GOD wont test us with things we can't handle. So whatever happens to us actually is the best for us. Be it whether its bitter or glorious, its all the best for us. It's the way we handle what's given to us is what matters. The way we live the life.

I almost got teary singing "Permata Dunia" - MMU anthem in the Grandhall earlier, because I remember singing it for the first time during orientation at MMU Melaka years ago.

But no tears came out, I'm just so happy. Maybe all the emotions already went out when I got my final exam results on last May/June. That time I already cried, call every person I cared and performed the Sujud Syukur. Because my path was not as smooth, few obstacles came bubbling out to the surface and finally it's all over.

So today is just a day of celebration.

So NO. No regrets.

Thank You Allah for this blessings.
Thank You to my Dad, Mom and family for financial support. God I owe them loads.
Thanks to my coursemates, Joyce, Gaya, Azue, Net and all Electrical students,
my FYP supervisor Dr Kartik, electrical lecturers Dr Naeem, Prof Ramar, Dr Normiza, Mr Mahendra, all the lecturers who taught me, my Academic Advisor Mr Yau Wei Chuen, he's no longer in MMU. He helped a lot, my roomates and friends from Alpha, Intan, Wiwi. And all friends whom I know directly or indirectly.
Thank You.
Tuhan je yang dapat balas jasa awak semua.
(^_^)

Oh BTW this cracks everybody up in the Grandhall, freakin genius who did this.:P
Couldn't find the full video though.

** Okay I've uploaded the FULL Video.thanks to She Loves Green for giving me the link.;)
Hilarious.
Wasn't expecting this at all.

New phase of Life

Pagi tadi saya sampai opis awal. Saya terbaca satu article dekat  The Star Online.

The title is already self explanatory.
Memang akan ada sedikit rasa kekok sebab kita terpaksa behave dan communicate dengan cara yang berbeza, lifestyle berbeza, and group of people yang berbeza.

I always remind myself that I can't always do what I used to do when I was still studying.
Here are few things that affect me the most,

1.Sleeping pattern.
Masa student jangan cakap lah tentang cukup tidur. Tak pernah berjaya achieve normal sleeping pattern for more than a week. Tapi bila dah bekerja, memang tak boleh tidur lambat sebab esok nak bangun awal.
Masa student sukahati lah nak bangun pukul berapa.
Tapi in a way, saya suka dengan situasi sekarang. Sebab saya terpaksa bangun pagi no matter what.
Saya jenis manusia yang sebenarnye sukakan pagi, angin pagi, breakfast nasi lemak, roti canai. Tapi biasanya sebab selalu tidur lambat istilah pagi jarang ada masa saya student.

2.Internet surfing/watching tv series/main game for gamers
Kalau dulu ym/facebook 24jam logged in, boleh surf internet berjam-jam dan boleh tengok berseason2 tv series back to back.
Saya pernah habiskan 5 season How I Met Your Mother dalam masa 2 minggu.:P
Skarang tunggu latest episod untuk cerita yang saya dah memang ikut je. Seminggu sekali.

3.Leisure time(with friends)
Dulu kalau nak tengok movie atau beli barang boleh keluar bila-bila masa. Weekdays memang takde hal.  Sekarang memang dah takde masa siang yang cukup untuk buat semua benda. Kalau nak jumpa masing-masing pun hujung minggu je.

4.Group of people
In workplace kita mingle dengan range umur yang lg luas, so kena behave sikit, respect and somewhat a little formal at times. Itu sebab honestly masa intern, saya agak socially awkward sebab saya tak tau macamana nak communicate dengan staff lain. Am I too talkative? Am I too quite? If I talk like this would they be offended, would I seems disrespectful. What should I call certain people? Ms/Mr or just their name? Benda kecik2 ni semua bermain dalam kepala.
Tapi lucky for me bila dah kerja I can slowly adapt with the situation. Haha.

Kesimpulannya, the only thing I miss about being student is just having all the time in the world.
The rest of the differences I could live with. Sebab come certain times, we have to move on with our life. And I'm excited to move on to the next phase of my life.
We didn't change at all actually. Just what we do.
Like people say.
Adult is just children with money.
And I totally agree.

Cravings

Okay saya balik Cyberjaya lagi this week, dari 2 minggu lepas mengidam nak makan maggi goreng ayam dengan teh ais dekat mamak di Faculty Creative Multimedia (FCM).

Mamak FCM ni memang dah jadi tempat makanan harian kitorg dulu. Kalau ada gap between class je mesti pergi sana. Sampai kenal lah mamak mamak tu semua ada anak berapa orang duduk kat mana semua.haha.

So bila dah intern memang lama gile tak makan dekat situ. Minggu haritu balik tak berkesempatan. Yelah Azue semua dah makan almost hari-hari kat situ takkan lah wiken nak makan situ jugak lagi kan. Tapi minggu ni dapat jugak pergi.

So maggi goreng ayam + papadom + teh ais.
Nyum.

For me teh ais dia memang paling best pernah saya rasa. (My personal opinion lah) Tapi lepas tu orang yang buat air tu dah pindah ke cawangan di Precint Diplomatik. So teh ais dia dh kurang sedap sikit. Tapi yang saya datang harini still best lah.

Paksa Azue datang jugak.:P

Actually nama mamak FCM ni Restoran Haji Tapah, dekat Seri Kembangan dengan Precint Diplomatik pun ada cawangan dia. Tapi yang dalam MMU ni memang kitorang panggil mamak FCM je.

Alah lupa pulak nak amik gambar taukeh dia.Haha.

Environment Shock

Haha ada ke ayat tu.
Selain dari kena biasakan diri dengan working life(which I pretty much enjoy), saya jugak kena biasakan diri dengan tempat tinggal baru. (which I absolutely did NOT).Sobs. Well you gain some you lose some kan.

Just make me realize that I love Cyberjaya way more than I think.
Like I always said, Cyberjaya ni senyap, tak crowded, bersih, jalan tak berpusing-pusing, xde traffic jam, tak sesak, tak crowded, tak ramai orang, xde immigrant, tak banyak kereta, traffic light je banyak, pastu die tak crowded, mamak kat Cyber ni ada Unifi..hehe okay out of topic da.

Entahla.

Actually it's not the house that bothers me exactly, it's the surrounding.

Saya dah biasa duduk dekat tempat yang tak sesak and tak ramai orang, kat hometown pun macamtu, so once kena duduk tempat yang sangat pack, memang rasa serabut.

Tengok lah macamana nanti, kalau boleh cari rumah baru. Takpun tahan je 3 bulan, lepas tu cari kerja kat Puchong ke Putrajaya ke apa, then stay dekat Cyberjaya balik.yey.:P

Tapi tu in the future lah kan, so we'll see.

Happy 3 weeks

This past 3 weeks have been hectic. Kelam kabut sikit, macam-macam benda kena buat. But I still managed to squeeze in football matches at the end of the week. I started my intern on 27th, so on the 26th, I started packing and everything and I waited until after the Spurs game to move out. Though I missed the first half packing my things. That was before circling around Neo-Cyber cari mamak yang pasang match Arsenal, sebab masa kitorang pergi tengah halftime, so xtau diorang pasang channel mana, the first one we went rupanya pasang Man U match. So terpaksa bailed out. Sory mamak.:P So geraklah mencari mamak lain. And it all worth it.

That was one of the things I like about Cyberjaya. Sekarang dah banyak mamak @ tempat makan, when one of them pasang channel lain, you can always find another, and if rasa-rasa taknak mamak, theres always Malay, or Kelantan, or Kopitiam. Banyak sebenarnya, saya boleh buat satu entry pasal tempat makan@lepak kat Cyberjaya. Theres a whole lot of variety since I first came here few years ago masa tu ada Hassan Cafe je satu.

26th February, 2012

So Arsenal 5 - 3 Tottenham Hotspurs

3rd March, 2012

The next week, I went back to Cyber, apparently I haven't checkout so I still have the key to my room, downloading highlights of the previous Spurs game. And on Saturday, went to mamak again for Liverpool game. Brilliant Sczcesny.

So Liverpool 1- 2 Arsenal

The next day I went to Uptown Shah Alam nak cari kemeja nak pakai pegi kerja esok. Desperate hours cari kemeja dekat Uptown je.haha. Nak jalan-jalan pun sama. Sambil-sambil tu tengok jugak jersey away Arsenal kalau ada yang quality bagus nak beli je lelaki punya size paling kecik. Sebab ladies punya away susah sikit nak cari. Tanya kat online pun diorang cakap xda sampai lagi. Then tiba-tiba nampak satu kedai jual jersey ni, masuk lah, nampak diorang ada banyak jual jersey lama-lama, tanyalah Arsenal away punya, macam biasa, size S habis, then diorang kata
"Taknak ke yang ladies punye?"
Saya pun,
"Hah?? ada ke??? Of course lah nakkkkk..!!"
hahaha. orang mengantuk disorongkan bantal. Terus angkat. RM30 je. Lupa terus kemeja. haha. Tapi memang puas hati.

So, camwhore.:P

Saya dengar bos kedai tu cakap dengan member, semalam Arsenal menang 2 - 1 lawan Liverpool, tu yang  habis tu jersey Arsenal. Ya rite, saya sibuk nak beli jersey Arsenal sebab Arsenal menang 2-1 semalam. Esok agak-agak Tottenham Hotspurs menang saya beli jersey Tottenham pulak. Haha. Nasib baik saya goodmood so saya gelak jelah ambik hati.:P

6th March, 2012

Rabu pagi pulak, match AC Milan, kalini memang nasib tak baik lah, tak boleh nak buat apa-apa. Sebab dah balik rumah sewa. Work days lagi. So terpaksa la tidur, tapi pukul 5 lebih macamtu dapat sms dari adik and kawan2 kronologi game tu. Terus celik mata. Tapi nasib kurang baik, no extra goals on 2nd half so, we're out of the Champions league with 4-3 aggregat.. But anyhow, 3-0 win against AC Milan is something to be proud of.

So Arsenal 3 - 0 AC Milan

11th March, 2012

This week, I went back to Cyber again, tapi lupa yang match lawan Newcastle to Isnin pagi Selasa. Bukan Ahad pagi Isnin. Ingat kalau Ahad boleh la kalau nak tengok. Tidur awal malam Ahad tu, lepas match boleh terus siap-siap pergi kerja. Tapi nampaknya kalau saya ada di rumah sewa tak dapat lah.

But nevertheless, I'm stil happy, lepas ni maybe dah check out hostel for good. Mungkin kalau rasa nak lepak Cyber lagi , tumpang bilik Azue je lah.

Funny how bila kita dah kehilangan sesuatu baru terasa sangat how we love that thing so much. But that's how life works. Takpe lah, we'll see.

I am no longer a student

My final exam result was out last night.
And I'm officially done with my degree. Well not officially, technically I still have this intern but yes. I'm done with everything else.
Alhamdulillah.
So this morning I walk to the office with a lingering thought that I'm NOT a student, I'm a working ladeyh..hahaha. demnit lady sounds old. Funny how the thought somehow makes me feels like I'm a free man.:P

Cause my study life hasn't been an easy ride. So let's keep the 'I can't believe all my misery had ended yadayada' talk after my convocation. And oh ya, the convo will be on 6, 7, 8 and 9 October. It's a loong way to go. God knows what'll happen in between.
But again, Alhamdullillah..(^_^)

Update

Okay where do I start. My last post was 18th Feb. Wah. Banyak minggu jugak tak jenguk blog ni. Masa kat tempat kerja macam-macam idea dalam kepala. Bila dah dapat internet, malas. So typical of me.:P

First week intern biasalah takde kerja sangat lagi. Monday and Tuesday ada training from one manufacture dari Italy. Wednesday Swiss manufacturer pulak. Technically what the company do is more to mechanical lah, focusing on valve. Tapi basic nak tau everything about valve pun kena tau electrical. So I can relate with what I learned in school. Bezanya masa belajar, belajar benda besar, i.e Power Station, Power System, Transmission System etc tapi bila intern, magnifies on one or two components in that big things.

Then on Wednesday my supervisor hand me one big ass file. Ada 18 chapter about Flow Control suruh saya rebus dan minum. Study.

Basically all about Liquid and Gas/Steam Flow, Intro to Pipeline flow sikit-sikit. Product-product dari manufacturer. Apa guna, bila nak guna, situasi mana nak guna. Teringat masa buat lab Transformer Oil Testing untuk subject High Voltage. Of course la tak masuk semua. haha. Tapi I got the general idea. NOt only pasal apa company tu buat tapi about the engineering field itself. Dulu saya ingat asal amik electrical je kerja Power station, Substation, kerja dengan TNB. Tapi tak juga. Luas sebenarnya bidang engineering ni. Ikut minat la. So in a way I can figure out what I really like and want to do in the future.

So for now still rasa macam dlam kelas, kena dengar foreign lecturer bersyarah with slideshow presentation, kena study buku tebal-tebal. Cuma bezanya tempat je lain. And dah tak boleh pakai seluar jeans except saturday. And kena bangun pagi. Haha. Tengoklah minggu-minggu akan datang kena buat apa pulak.

Love this mousepad on my desk.
Banyak lagi nak cerita ni. Nanti sambung.(^_^)

Sesi Berjalan

So, harini berjalan ke KLCC cari penyakit buku. Jauh kan cari buku. Sebab rasa macam Kinokuniya lagi banyak choice untuk meghabiskan voucher. Si Azue nak pergi Sogo and Jalan Masjid India and si Diana pulak tengah rajin berjalan. So sampai lah ke sana.

First order of business - Makan. Sebab semalam nya dinner pukul 6petang. Pagi tak breakfast. Sampai KLCC around 11.45am.  Kesian perut. So pergi Ben's. Diana cakap sedap. So kitorang pun termakan hasutan Diana dan makan di situ.

Best tempat dia. Mintak duduk sebelah tingkap boleh skodeng orang tengah relax-relax kat kolam/tasik KLCC tu.

My drinks - Garden Spritzer (or something..
cedap.

My food - Spaghetti Carbonara.
biase je. xdelah sedap sampai nangis.

Azue's - Thai.. something something
Azue complaint sedikit masin.

Diana's - Seafood err..something.
God I'm bad at this, no more food entry next time.:P

Dekat Ben's ni semua waiter, takde waitress. Service bagus la. Boleh dipuji.

So kesimpulan (out of 5 stars),

Food:
Ambience:
Price: Macam Chilli's kot.
Service:

Lepas kenyang pergi Kinokuniya. Dh banyak choice rambang mata pulak. Ni some of the books yang caught my eye.

RVP The Biography - RM89

Shoot Mag tu tatau bape harga.
Theo - Growing Up Fast   RM79.

Kalau bagi choice Theo and RVP's biography memang saya beli RVP lah. Merajuk dengan Theo bola depan gol pun tamau score.T_T..

Tapi takpe, jalan dulu.
Pergi kat Section Electrical Engineering.Walaupun da bes blaja. Mane lah tau time-time keje nanti perlu refer buku ke. Tapi buku-buku Engineering mana ada murah-murah. Semua from RM300 - RM700. So saya buat-buat nak beli je la.

Ni rasanya RM400 something kot.

Lepas tu jumpa language section. Yesss. Nampak series ni. RM119-RM189. Best jugak siap dengan audio.
Takpe jalan lagi.

Rambang gila mata. Azue dengan Diana dah give up so diorang keluar dulu. Sudahnye saya amik

French Made Easy RM53
FourFourTwo Magazine RM10
Arsenal Magazine Jan Issue  (cover depan Koscielny) - RM20.
Notebook dengan pen je.
Total RM100.

Then pergi lah beratur. Sampai conuter dia cakap "Beratur dari belah sane ek". Salah lane rupanya. Okay lah, salah saya jugak. Nak cepat takut dorang tunggu. So tak perasan. Patutlah lane tu lain macam je sikit orang. Terus rasa kalau ada cengkerang nak masuk dalam cengkerang. Lane beratur pun taktau. Anak sapa lah ni.
So saya pergi lane yang betul. Panjang pulak. Takpela. Beratur. Da sampai counter akak tu cakap kena pergi verify pulak voucher tu dulu. Counter belakang sana dekat dengan comic section. Ler. Pulak. Penat saya beratur tau.

Saya pun menurut perintah pergi lah cari comic section. Lagi panjang dari tadi queue dia. Tak pelah beratur je lah. Bila sampai turn saya, akak situ pulak cakap "Verify dekat COUNTER SEBELAH ye".
Which is 3 kali lagi panjang dari lane tadi.
You've gotta be kidding me..T_T..

Rasa nak makan orang je time tu. So saya yang tahap toleransi dah tinggal satu bar je tu terus keluar dari section. Cari trolli. Letak barang. Dan keluar cari Diana dengan Azue. Lain kali lah beli.
Nak dapat benda free ni memang banyak sikit songeh dia. Lain kali pergi time weekdays la. Tak ramai sangat orang.

Lepas tu pergi Sogo. Parking sebelah bangunan Mara tu dan jalan kaki pegi Jalan Masjid India semua. Malangnya handphone dah habis baterry, tak boleh amik gambar lagi. Sekarang ni asyik nak habis battery je kerja dia. Mungkin hint suruh beli Sensasion XL kot.(^_^)

Easily amused.
Jenuh saya cari mana 'Best Man' yang dimaksudkan.

Esok jalan dengan family pulak. Hee. Ai yem a happy bunny.

Just another day

Hmm..apa nak buat eh harini.
Harini bermula dengan agak tidak best. Usaha untuk tak tdur pagi semalam sebab nak stream game AC Milan Arsenal. Mula-mula tu dapat lah. Sempat lah tengok pre kickoff diorang tengah lineup dengan jersey mustard. Sekali stream problem. Setengah jam  cari balik tak jumpa yang bagus. Tersekat-sekat, tau-tau saya pun tertidur..last score line sy tengok AC Milan 1- 0 Arsenal.

Saya bangun lambat pagi tadi dan terus check the result.

Shit.

Sambung tidur balik.

Kecewa memang lah sebab sejak game lawan Sunderland malam Sabtu lepas I'm counting days to Thursday morning. I definitely don't think this is an easy game. It's the Italian giant. They have the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Pato, El Sharawi. I remember at this stage last year Ibrahimovic scored against us when he's with Barcelona. If Mertesacker was there at least we got someone the same size to cover him but Per is injured and Wenger throw Gibbs in. Hmm.

And from the tweets, match reports and highlights, Arsenal had the worst game and Milan in reciprocal - is performing well.

But enough about that.

I got my offer letter yesterday. So I'm gonna do my internship somewhere in Shah Alam at the end of this month. Kinda sad actually cause I've to leave Cyberjaya. Sigh.

I love it here. It's quiet and calm. I've live here since my first year and this is already my second home. Sangat berat hati nak mulakan hidup baru in a new city. It's like starting a new relationship. Kena get familiar with the place all over again.

I've thought about just staying here and travel 45minutes pergi 45 minutes balik everyday. Ikut jalan belakang ke Puchong ni rasa macam dekat jugak. Tol pun dalam RM5 pegi balik. Duit minyak. Err.okay duit minyak problem sikit la.

So it's a dead end. Have to find a place in Shah Alam soon.

Takpelah maybe next time ada jodoh dengan Cyberjaya lagi.:)

For this time being, tak de apa-apa nak buat, I kill my time with marathon of The Walking Dead series.

Best.

Not suitable for kids lah. You know bloods and gores everywhere.

But memang best. You guys should watch it.

Yes. That's Dr. Sara Tancredi from Prison Break.
One of the reason why I'm so keen to watch this.

Tak mau cerita sinopsis. Tengok sendiri. Okebai. (^_^)

Alhamdulillah

Kedua-dua paper last sudah selesai semalam dan kelmarin. eh kelmarin dulu.eh? I mean the day before yesterday la senang cerita haha.

Saya speechless juga la for a brief moment sebab lab technician tu kitorang budak-budak electrical memang kenal sangat. Kebanyakan lab electrical major memang sama ada di Machine and Drive lab atau Energy System lab which dua-dua pernah dikendalikan oleh arwah. Masa buat mini project dulu banyak kali kena pergi lab Machine and Drive and abang tu jenis yang sempoi yang jenis tak kisah so banyak jugak lah dia tolong kitorang perihal lab-lab dan project nih. Jenis yang garang-garang tapi sebenarnye saje memain..haha.. haih. Mungkin dah sampai waktu dia.

Sebenarnya saya tak boleh dengar orang meninggal accident ni..kesan dia mendalam sikit dari 'pergi' dengan cara lain.

I feel bad just hearing the news and also knowing that there's nothing I can do about it. :(
Semoga roh abg Saiful Lizan dan husband lecturer tersebut ditempatkan dikalangan orang-orang yang beriman. Al-Fatihah.

1Malaysia Book Voucher

Just collected these today.(The voucher.not the pendrive.=P)
Berfikir-fikir jugak, nak beli buku apa lah dengan voucher ni. Kalau dapat awal-awal sem dulu boleh jugak beli buku text Material. Sekarang final pun dah dekat, and I'll be finishing in February anyway. So takda buku yang perlu dibeli. Nak bagi siblings, Abang dah habis belajar, Memi dekat oversea, Aran baru habis SPM.
Hmm.. or, maybe I could buy some language book I've been dying to buy before. Some of the good books yang include audio CD cost quite a lot. So yes. I'll definitely buy one of that.
Languange pun kira educational jugak kan.

Chills...

He's the reason why I love Arsenal.
He's the reason why I stopped following Arsenal for a while.
And now he's back.
Couldn't ask for more.

In an unrelated note, he used to wear the number 14, now he wears the number 12.
14.12 is my birthday!
(^_^)

P/s: Been busy with the assignment. The due that supposed to be today was extended to Monday. Not sure whether I should be happy or sad.=P

Remember this?

I need to refer to this while doing an assignment about thermoelectric nanomaterial,

One of the reason why I took Electrical Engineering is to AVOID this thing.
Lucky me, I meet them again this sem.
This is indeed interesting.
.VERY.interesting.
(=.=)

Talking about material physics,

where's Dr. Sheldon Cooper when you need him?

When Arsenal lost

I remember vaguely what happened last night. I was so sleepy and frustrated at the shittier than ever streaming link. I remember a little jumping over Kos's goal. Then feeling kinda weird of the sudden change of gear on the second half by the Fulham side. Then I remember shouting at the referee lappy screen for the red card. Then the shitty stream. Then the  equalizing goal. Then they took Ramsey out and leave a Texas-sized hole in the midfield. Then the Zamora goal. Then.

I woke up this morning. Recall my memory.
Oh ya, Arsenal lost 1-2 to Fulham.
Then I made my occasional morning Nescafe.

No browsing sports/Arsenal related websites.
No social network activities.
No downloading/watching Match of The Day
No YM.

And walla!

Lab Report DONE.

Malaysia Nuclear Plant?

Few weeks ago, supposedly in Mr Mahendra's Transient Stability class, we have a talk by Guest Lecturer Dr J.Nanda.
Amazing, amazing person. Very wise and fatherly professor from India. After he gave his inspiring talk about Transient Stability and the issues of global warming and environment in general, he mentioned one solution for the earth energy crisis - Nuclear Plant.
I agree and disagree at the same time. I agree the idea of that but I disagree if one is to be built in my country - Malaysia.

Last week in Electrical Engineering Material class, Dr Ong told us about speaking up and contributing to the society and he brought up the same thing,

...and TNB still wants to built the nuclear plant, and where are these young engineers, or you engineering students, don't you want to say anything about this?

I agree if our country is as big as Russia, the US, China or even India for that matter. They can do it. Plenty of it, no problem, they have the space for the disposal, and they also have the space in case anything goes haywire and *touch wood* radiation leaks. How many acres do you reckon our country is?
And where do you suppose we dump the nuclear disposal?? We barely have land for rubbish disposal. Dump it deep in the sea? you tell me.
Look at the map,

Red dots are the nuclear power plants in the respective countries.

For me two crucial factors are
1.men power(the experts).
2.space/land.

You see, Russia and US are the big countries and they have the experts. (Well considering Russia is the biggest country in the world, they only have 30 or so nuke plant while the US have like 100 over of them.)

Smaller Europe countries may not have the space but they have a lot of experts. Same goes to Japan. I saw the red dots in Japan  and I have goosebumps already. They have 54. But they do have experts. But still, see what happened after the tsunami. Experts alone does not ensure the security.

I don't underestimate our experts. It's just we're still a developing country.

When they propose the Bakun hydro dam project few years back, people were against it because our natural forests will be ruined, but this is nuke plant we're talking, not only the forest are at risk it's also the people.
Just think about our future children who will live in the environment.

Some people may want to prove that they are capable enough to do things. But It's not the matter of proving what we are capable of anymore,  its the matter of risk against the society. Do we really want to be responsible of the huge consequences just to conform to our ego and masochistic nature?

Here's what Dr.M have to say about the matter.

And in case you're wondering, he also said NO.
