Go to school>Go to university>Get a job>Get married>Have kids>Buy a house

Then what?

What if someone didn't live according to that order?

Some say the most important is to find love.

Some say we should find money and security in our old days.

Some people my age are busy building a family, having kids, raising kids, saving for the kids future.

Some of them busy gathering wealth, they have aims to achieve, some are working hard to achieve successful business, a dream car, and some working and planning their future to achieve financial independence.

I'm still considering the way I'm gonna live my life.

I have no point here actually. Just thinking.

What if I don't want what other people want? 

Because these past few months, when I think of doing something I will question myself of the reasons. 

Like when I think of furthering my studies, I will ask myself, 'Why do you want to further your studies?'

When I want to buy a house 'Why do you want to buy a house?'

Most of it will answer something that have to do with my future.

Education is for better career in the future.

House is a saving method for the future.

All of what people do that I mentioned above, kids, dream car,business, everything is for the future.

The thing about future is, it is not definite.

Isn't there something that I can do for now? For the present?

I know I can do whatever the hell I want with my life, 

but what?

Asrama Penuh Vs Sekolah Harian

Tiba-tiba saya terfikir untuk cakap pasal ni. Ramai yang ada pendapat masing-masing.
Ramai kata, asrama penuh lagi bagus, ada yang kata depends, ada yang kata harian. Macam-macam sebab.
And bagi saya ( Saya dah pernah rasa duduk asrama penuh, asrama harian dan sekolah harian. So sedikit sbanyak saya boleh compare, mengikut experience sendiri.

Asrama Penuh
1.Disiplin.
-Jadual dari pagi sampai malam dah diaturkan. Diorang berdikari dari segi kehidupan sendiri-basuh baju sendiri, kemas katil sendiri, cuci toilet sendiri.
2.Akademik
-Cikgu-cikgu bagi komitmen tinggi
-Kerajaan pun bagi attention lebih jugak for these kind of schools.
-Dan sebab cikgu banyak tolong, student jadi kurang berdikari bila keluar asrama (in terms of cara belajar dan peluang2 ni semua tadi) Sebab di university, lecturer takkan bagi semua benda bulat2 to student. Most of it kena cari sendiri.
3.Peluang
-Cikgu2 banyak bagi student aware tentang biasiswa atau tajaan2 untuk belajar dalam dan luar negeri. Plus University atau some company mungkin akan ada impression bagus bila tau budak ni dari SBP atau MRSM.
4.Cara berfikir
-Saya perasan budak asrama penuh kurang berfikiran terbuka. Their thinking hanya depends of what kind of thinking the teachers mould them into. Sebab diorang jarang dapat tengok TV atau guna internet. Hanya baca paper.
5. Social Life
-Mungkin lebih terkawal sebab peraturan asrama ketat. Tapi ada jugak kes 'fly' dan sebagainya. Maklum lah teenagers or humans in general, lagi di sekat lagi nak buat. Rebel phase lah katakan.:P

Sekolah Harian
1. Disiplin
-Disiplin will depends on family dia punya cara. Kalau yang latih anak2 berdikari dalam kehidupan dia akan sama je macam budak asrama.
2. Akademik
-Depends on the student itself. Kalau jumpa kawan yang betul should be ok. Kalau tak susah sikit.
3. Peluang
-Ada juga cikgu2 akan inform opportunities yang ada tapi mostly depends on student and family sendiri punya awareness.
4. Cara berfikir
-Lebih berfikiran terbuka dan boleh bergaul dengan orang dari different background and culture.
-Sebab semua buat sendiri, diorang lebih independent. Dah biasa cari info sendiri dekat library semua.
5. Social Life 
- Diorang lebih bebas boleh keluar sendiri lepas sekolah pergi tengok movie, shopping complex semua. Again depends on parents nak jaga.

Another aspect is relationship with family.
Mungkin kalau anak duduk asrama parents lebih senang sikit. Tak payah pening kepala nak fikir pasal nak hantar and ambik anak balik sekolah hari-hari. Tapi bahaya sebab kalau parents just lepas tangan, anak-anak mungkin akan jadi jauh sikit dari family. Atau have thinking yang dia boleh survive without parents advice. Yelah cikgu ada kaunselor ada, kawan-kawan ada.

Tapi yang sekolah harian pun kalau parents tak ambil tau pun sama juga outcome dia. Again, its a variable thing. Depends on the parents and the students.

Kadang-kadang ada jugak family yang susah, galakkan anak yang pandai masuk asrama sebab makan minum semua stabil. Kalau kat rumah diorang makan pun susah. Ada juga kes macam ni.

Tapi saya rasa jumlah student yang berjaya dari dua2 jenis sekolah sama banyak je.
Yang penting individu kan.

But honestly for me, I'm 60-70% inclined to Sekolah Harian. Because for me, If you want to teach your child to be independent atau 'let them grow as a person' it's better they were free to explore the world in front of them with YOUR protection rather than send them to be enclosed in one place under other people's protection and moulded into one type of thinking that might differ from yours.

Also if the reason is to enhance their academic potential, there's a lot of great tuition centers out there.And opportunities, well you will be glad if you could find the opportunities for them, went to education fair/career fair together. Why not.

But again, it's just my opinion.

I'm truly truly grateful to have the opportunity to be in both type of schools. =)

Saya actually tengah bukak balik semua draft yang tersimpan dalam blog ni. And terjumpa post ni. I think saya tulis tahun lepas or 2012 kot. Masa ni terikut2 dengan gaya tulisan Pipiyapong dengan Sokernet. Zaman baca blog Pipi and Sokernet hari2. (Menyampah jugak sikit baca post ni sebab rasa sangat tak original haha ) Tapi sekarang tak dah. So saya publish just for fun.hahaha.

 Mungkin masa kecik-kecik biasa main polisentri.

Siap jadi duta motor lagi. Hubungkait antara motor dengan bola ni saya tak berapa pasti, tapi dengar cerita dia dah main kat indon sekarang ni. Power.power.

Minggu lepas ada nampak muka dia masuk page belakang paper Utusan, sebab apa tu tak sempat baca pulak. Dia dengan perempuan, mungkin adik angkat la rasanya.

Kite bagi die tahap David Luiz la.

Okey, saya yakin dia ni yang kapten bukan Norshahrul Idlan Talaha yang tadi tu.

Ni Aidil Zaquan, baru bercerai dengan Rita Rudaini.

Dia main apa tah, kejap tengok jadi striker, kejap tengok jadi defend. Suka hati dia je.

Nak kata power tu tak  la sangat, asal jatuh sikit je kena usung keluar naik stretcher. Ass.

Masa belajar dulu, masa banyak, selalu keluar, tapi duit takde.

Bila dah kerja duit ada, boleh beli all the stuffs that you hesitate to buy when you still studying.
But unfortunately you rarely got the chance to WEAR them. Sebab xde masa nak keluar.

The world without...

Update

Finally, my industrial training was over and as of 1 week ago, I'm officially a penganggur. Hehe.

Barulah ada masa nak update2 blog dan baca blog orang.
Feels nice to be getting away from valve, actuators and all those stuffs. If I got the chance, I'd like to go back to transformers and motors, we'll see how things go.
And getting away from Shah Alam. Thank you God.
Don't get me wrong, I don't have issues with Shah Alam in general, just that particular place I stayed for 3months. I lost 3kilos since intern T_T. Its a blessing in disguise I suppose.=P

Saya ada few projects I need to do,

1. Room Revamp
Balik rumah kali ni saya dapat bilik baru. Taklah baru, swap bilik dengan parents. Sebab dorang complaint sakit lutut kena panjat tangga. So sekarang tengah gila mengecat semua benda.haha. Kita tengoklah jadi apa nanti last-last.=P

I kinda wanna try the brown-pink-blue theme. But now I'm still undecided of which color goes where. All the furniture should be white. Done. Just the color of the walls.

2. Baju Raya 
Kena start fikir dah, tahun tahun sebelum ni selalu last minute semua tak puas hati. SO kena start cari kain/tempah baju sekarang. Lagipun da habis blaja, xde exam da nak interfere dengan raya. boleh la raya dengan happy tahun ni. Nottt! =P

3. Report Intern
Ada ke letak no 3. Punyalah xbetul priority. Takpelah, I still have like what 11, 12 days. Hehe. Sempat. InsyaAllah.

But for all this to happen, I have to find a job first. Oh ya. 4th project.

Situasi: Lunch Hour disebuah kampeni.
Activity: Nak keluar, pergi isi minyak, tank dah negative empty. Petang karang nak gi tengok Dark Shadow so isi la siap2.

Traffic light first,

'Ehhh..Alaaaaaaaa demmm, tetinggal handbag kat opis."

Befikir-fikir, nak patah balik ke teruskan,

'Ngaa..tapela, pi kelua dwit kat bank la.Isk.'

8minit kemudian.
Sampai depan bank,

'Ehhh, laaaaaaaaaa, bankcard pun ofcourse lah dalam handbag. cerdiknyaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!'

Check dalam poket kiri ada 6rm.
Cantik. Isi minyak 5rm.
Tank tak bergerak pun. Tak pe la. Petang kang isi lain.
Duit ade singgit lagi ni. Ape boleh beli.

Korek2 tempat syiling spare untuk dwit tol..ade 50 sen. Poket selua kanan, ade 30sen, beg syiling duit 5sen ade dalam 90sen rasenye, jangan pakai semue.simpan untuk kecemasan.
Stop dekat stall jual kuih.

Geleng kepala dekat diri sendiri..anak sapalah pathetic sangat ni. =P

Dealing with jack@sses - a guide to sensitive people

This is certainly not the kind of jackasses I'm talking about.=D

You can't avoid jackasses, they are everywhere. There will always be atleast one or more than one (if you are unlucky) fcuking annoying people around you (in your office/school) that make you wanna slap their faces repeatedly everytime they open their mouth.  

Obviously when you are not that sensitive, you'll be able to NOT GIVE A SHIT.  But those soft hearted and sensitive person will tend to be annoyed, hurt or dwell in frustration longer than those who are less sensitive.

Sadly we can't change them, but we can adjust ourself to survive in situations that involve these..JAs.

So I suggest some ways for us to apply whenever necessary, 

1. Compliment them

These type of people love compliment. Well who doesn't. but really, they LOVE them. They FEED from all sorts of flattery. If nobody praises them they will say good things about themselves to let you know they're good. They will tell you stuffs like, Bosses likes them, supervisors likes them, they always get good grades, their' skin is glowing like a freakin moon or something. Cause you know, great people don't admit they great, other people will tell you about their greatness. Only not so great people love to brag about themselves because nobody will say they're good. because you know, they're really NOT that good. Empty vessels makes the most sound..right.. bunyik je lebih habuk pun takde..

So, give them compliments. You don't have to be sincere. Just say something like,"hey nice handbag, that must be pricey" even though you know its a pasar malam knock-off or "hey you look good in those pants" even though you have to go and vomit after.

It's not that you're trying to befriend them or anything, you just don't want them to think you as a threat or enemy. You know, keep it natural, don't show you hate them but don't show you like them either. 

2. Keep distance.

If I dislike a person, my proximity sensor will automatically sets me to a specified distance within this person. So that you don't give them reason to annoy you and you don't feel annoyed by their actions. Well that's about the same thing.

Because these jackasses, they always eager to find your flaws, so that they can feel better about themselves. If you don't keep distance, any minor mistake you did will turned out to be a lot bigger deal that it actually is. It's time to apply the old saying 'Keep your friend close, keep your enemy closer'.

3. Don't gossip.

Yes you are annoyed with them, but don't try to talk to other colleagues/classmates about how you hate them/how awful they are, how improper they behave. Just don't. That just make other people think you're whiny, hateful or even jealous. Even if you certainly are not.

If the jackass is truly a jackass, people will realize sooner or later. If other people start talking, then you can agree - mildly. Keep cool. Then you can smile satisfactorily knowing that the self-proclaimed over achiever is actually just a pain in the ass to everybody.

Well that's all I can think of, off to mamak for dinner. Nite2.(^_^)

My weeks

Lama tak update blog. Sebab tak de ape yang best pun, last week pergi  AEON Bukit Tinggi. Teman sorang colleague ni nak shopping. Dia yang tunjuk jalan. Tak la jauh sangat dari Shah Alam, tapi kena dua tol jugaklah, satu 1.20 satu 2.20. Senang cari, tak sesat langsung. :P Then sampai-sampai terus makan.

My colleague tadi nak makan dekat satu kedai ni. Igentis. Sangat cute. Menu dia macam kopitiam la.Chinese food tapi Halal. Don't worry I've checked. Saya tak berapa sangat makanan kopitiam. Tapi ikut je la. :P

Actually yg ni bukan dekat Bukit Tinggi. Ni gambar random dari gugel. Tapi lebih kurang la tema die.

So first thing saya nampak is menu dia. Colorful.:P

Budak-budak memang confirm suka. 

Harga pun okeyla. Standard.

Our drinks - my colleague punya Papaya Milkshake and mine is the blue one.

Blue Wing Cupid. Sedap. Die macam taruk soda and yoghurt.

Then my colleague order the Vege Mee and saya order Beef Kueytiow je tapi macam biasa la rasa macam dekat kopitiam lain.

The interior, ni my colleague ambik, blur lepas tu die taknak ambik lgi dah. Haha

And saya baru tau rupa2 nya dekat Aeon Bukit Tinggi ni macam2 ada, I mean ada Mango, Dorothy Perkins, Guess, Esprit. Lebih kurang macam Alamanda lah. Oh and TGV ,okeyla kat Shah Alam xde cinema. Paling dekat pun Sunway. Alah actually jarak lebih kurang je Shah Alam-Bukit Tinggi dengan Shah Alam - Sunway. :P

So sementara mengikut my colleague yang macam nak gila bershopping, saya  pun try2 dress. Ada satu dress putih dekat Nichi yang paling saya suka.

Then ada jumpa satu lagi dekat ape tah name kedai dah lupa tapi da taklarat nk try2 and amik gambar. Next allowance beli.:P

About my intern, nothing much but last few weeks dapat ikut orang2 service pegi warehouse. Tengok diorang assemble choke valve dengan FAT testing untuk satu ball valve 30 inch.

FAT testing untuk ball valve ni saya tak attend sampai habis pun. nak pump pun punya lama, so tanya2 dekat Service Engineer tu sikit2 patu naik opis balik. Lagipun takut supervisor saya heran mana saya pergi lama sangat xde kat meja. Sebab ikutkan saya bukan department service. Saya department application. Tapi saje nak tengok. Ape salahnye kan.haha

Then hari Ahad tu adik saya yang baru habis SPM dapat offer pergi interview dekat Intec. So saya pun jadi kakak yang mithali tolong bawakkan die pegi.

Mostly ramai parents yang hantar anak2 dorang, so sepanjang tunggu adik saya interview saya bersembang dengan mak mak orang belaka. Ada macik yang ingat saya yang pegi inteviu so tepaksa bangga skit dianggap budak lepasan SPM hik.

Makcik tu rabun mungkin.:P

Ramai yang datang interview. Ramai gila. And I thought budak2 lelaki kurang, tapi rupanya sama ramai dengn perempuan.

Masa sembang-sembang diorang cerita ada 2000 orang calon yg pegi interview seluruh mesia,
nak amik 200 orang je. Ada dua sesi, pagi dan petang.
Adik saya dapat sesi pagi pukul 8.30 pagi.
Diorang dibahagi 10 group, dalam satu group ada 20 orang.
Start dengan ujian bertulis lepas tu baru interview lisan.

Serious Intec ni macam sekolah.

Tak macam IPT.:P

Nervous menunggu. 

Kitorang lupa nak amik gambar proper sebab masing2 nervous. Dengan saya2 nervous. Macam saya yang inteviu. Tapi saya cakap dengan dia, kalau rezeki dekat situ InsyaAllah dapat, kalau rezeki bukan dekat situ pun takpe, atleast dia ada pengalaman interview kan.

So skang nervous tunggu result pulak.

Then minggu ni macam biasa, balik Cyber. Semalam tengok game Arsenal Chelsea. Draw 0-0. A bit dissapointing. but somehow pagi ni tau Tottenham kalah dengan QPR. So a draw wasn't that bad at all. hehe. Go QPR go Tony Fernandez.:P:P

Mamak yang biasa saya pegi - Rasa Alamanda.

Tapi dia selalu pasang game ManU so tak jadi favorite.:P

Oh, ada lagi satu tempat makan saya pergi malam semala, foodcourt baru bukak dekat Putrajaya sebelah JPM on the way keluar dari Masjid Putrajaya yang dekat dataran tu. Selera Laman Perdana.

Ada macam-macam kiosk makanan western, malay food, drinks and dia bukak sampai 11 malam, weekend 12 malam. Kitorang makan char kuey tiow dia. Sumpah sedap sebab kitorang makan masa tengah kenyang tapi still sedap gila. So kesimpulannya memang sedap lah kan. So silalah try harga pun standard 4rm. Gambar takde tak larat nk tangkap.:P

Apasal saya banyak promote tempat makan ni?

So itu saja lah beberapa minggu kebelakangan ni. Makan je. Harap2 berat tak naik. ngee. Next week balik hometown. Lama dah tak balik. Tak sabar, cepat lah Jumaat plis.:P

Redeemed

So this is what I ended up using my voucher for last Saturday. Unfortunately no Arsenal magazine/books at MPH Alamanda so. Just couple of languages books, a  novel and few pens thrown in to round up the amount.

P/s: Just ignore the deodorant and Garfield plushies.(^_^)

Money Vs Interest

Sebelum ni, bila tengok kawan-kawan yang dah mula bekerja. Bila diorang terpaksa memilih between two opportunities, they always ask the same question. Carrier that gives you fat paycheck, or the one that you love to do more than anything else?

Masa saya masih belajar dulu, laju saya jawab: Come on, it’s no brainer, of course choose the MONEY!

Tapi bila saya dah berada dalam dunia bekerja, I came to realization: It has to be INTEREST.

Why, because you will spend your whole daytime at your workplace. Everyday, every week, probably until you die. It’s practically your life. You only went home to sleep basically and go to work again the very next morning.

So I can’t imagine someone doing a job he or she despise just because the payment is good. When will you be spending all the money anyway if you had to go to the job you hated so much for 5 maybe 6 days a week. Maybe there are people who willing to do that, but I certainly can’t. My study years had been so stressful I’m hoping for a happy and enjoyable working phase of my life. God’s willing.

But of course it’s my opinion. At this time.

Who knows after sometimes, my heart will change and for some reason I’m seriously into money and leave my interest behind. So time will tell.:)

Sesi Berjalan

So, harini berjalan ke KLCC cari penyakit buku. Jauh kan cari buku. Sebab rasa macam Kinokuniya lagi banyak choice untuk meghabiskan voucher. Si Azue nak pergi Sogo and Jalan Masjid India and si Diana pulak tengah rajin berjalan. So sampai lah ke sana. 

First order of business - Makan. Sebab semalam nya dinner pukul 6petang. Pagi tak breakfast. Sampai KLCC around 11.45am.  Kesian perut. So pergi Ben's. Diana cakap sedap. So kitorang pun termakan hasutan Diana dan makan di situ.

Best tempat dia. Mintak duduk sebelah tingkap boleh skodeng orang tengah relax-relax kat kolam/tasik KLCC tu.

Takpe jalan lagi.

Patutlah lane tu lain macam je sikit orang. Terus rasa kalau ada cengkerang nak masuk dalam cengkerang. Lane beratur pun taktau. Anak sapa lah ni. 

So saya pergi lane yang betul. Panjang pulak. Takpela. Beratur. Da sampai counter akak tu cakap kena pergi verify pulak voucher tu dulu. Counter belakang sana dekat dengan comic section. Ler. Pulak. Penat saya beratur tau.

Saya pun menurut perintah pergi lah cari comic section. Lagi panjang dari tadi queue dia. Tak pelah beratur je lah. Bila sampai turn saya, akak situ pulak cakap "Verify dekat COUNTER SEBELAH ye". 

Which is 3 kali lagi panjang dari lane tadi.

Rasa nak makan orang je time tu. So saya yang tahap toleransi dah tinggal satu bar je tu terus keluar dari section. Cari trolli. Letak barang. Dan keluar cari Diana dengan Azue. Lain kali lah beli.

Nak dapat benda free ni memang banyak sikit songeh dia. Lain kali pergi time weekdays la. Tak ramai sangat orang.

Lepas tu pergi Sogo. Parking sebelah bangunan Mara tu dan jalan kaki pegi Jalan Masjid India semua. Malangnya handphone dah habis baterry, tak boleh amik gambar lagi. Sekarang ni asyik nak habis battery je kerja dia. Mungkin hint suruh beli Sensasion XL kot.(^_^)
