Dya talks skincare

Skincare was never a topic of my interest since I was young.

But I do use them sparingly ever since I started high school.

I don't really have a skin issue but I do have that usual growing up acne on my teen years but its not something too alarming that requires me to get attached to a skincare routine.

I used the Johnson's Clean n Clear cleanser when I first got my acne but it feels to harsh for me and even made my skin cracks around the corner of my nose.

I remember sticking to Safi Balqis cleanser for the rest of my highschool years.

My first real experience with skincare was when I joined the school marching band and I got sunburned and I wanted to get rid of the sunburn.
At the time Fair 'N' Lovely was all the hype, this was around the year 2000-ish.
But I'm not too fond to try them cos those girls who use them, I noticed it made their skin lighter than their original skin. Seems too - for the lack of a better word- corrosive to me.
So I asked my mom, and she told me she used  this old Nivea lotion that has been around since my grandma time.

So I did my own research and I buy this Nivea Day and Night cream

Of course the packaging are different 17 years back. But it's a day and night cream.

So I religiously apply them, and within a week my sunburn is gone and my skin is back to its original color, not lighter, and some of my roommate notices.

So since then, I stick to these Day and Night cream from Nivea up until my twenties.
I don't use is everyday but its the only brand I go to.

And then after a while, I believe when you used a product for too long (about 10 years at the time), it stopped giving an effect to your skin. So I look for different brand of skincare.  I was around 27 when I got influenced by Yuna campaign for Olay, so I used Olay for a while. Yuna is my age so I assumed what works for her will work for me. haha.
Apparently it doesn't.

Then after a while I changed to Nutox range. This time influenced by Fazura.

I am one easily influenced soul. *guilty*

It was when I was 30 that I started to use the full range of skincare, *baru nak ada kesedaran*
I used everything Nutox. Cleanser, day cream, night cream and serum. I started to learn the function of serum. And I fell in love particularly with the Nutox Serum Concentrate and its Night Repair Cream.
The first time I used them, my husband and friends noticed my skin actually glows.

So I stick with them for 2 years.

And all these while, up until now, I haven't use any scrub ke apa ke, only the basic cleanse, tone, moisturize.

This year, at 32, I get more deeper into skincare, when,
1. I took that damn 10 years challenge that highlighted how dull and tired my skin looks
2. My long time housemate Anne, started getting into skincare too.
3. I work with a 24 year old fresh graduate who is a skincare enthusiast.

So I start to study my own skin and what to do to make it healthier and better.

The first thing I need to know is my skin type. Since teenage years, I always thought that my skin is oily, by mid twenties, some skincare salesperson told me that I had a combination skin -oily & dry, but now, probably when I reached 30, my skin is actually a DRY SKIN.

I always said I don't want brightening, tak nak putih pun, just nak kulit yg smooth, sekata, clean pores and healthy looking skin.

Basically my skin problems are,
1. Dull and tired looking skin (dry)
2. Large pores
3. Pigmentation (due to those visit to many many beaches in my mid/late twenties)
4. Fine lines on the forehead

When your skin is dry, it becomes rough, sometimes flaky and when the surface of your skin is not smooth, it wont have the ability to reflect light, hence the dull looking skin.

So from what I read, what I need is hydration, and what I need for hydration is Hyaluronic Acid, and I goes berserk looking for everything Hyaluronic Acid.

The first thing I do is changing my Nutox cleanser cause it seems like it does nothing for me.
So I look for Hada Labo range, cause they have everything HA. I never liked anything Korean before, but now I get the hype, Asian skincare is for Asian skin. So cleanser done.
Since I was already there, I bought along its toner/lotion. Believe it or not I stayed in Sunway Velocity Watson for my entire lunch hour that day just to read all the ingredients and comparing every product on the Hada Labo shelf.

1. Hada Labo Shirojyun Premium Whitening Facewash

Don't really care about the whitening but at first I bought the white one its too drying for my skin, then ada satu girl dekat Watson suggest I guna this one, and so far ok, not too drying.)

2. Hada Labo Gokujyun-Alpha Toner

Ni memang amik masa lama gila nak pilih mana satu, but last2 amik yg anti-aging sebab well, sis dah 30 plus. heh.

Both have high content of HA.

Then after few days, I realized the importance of sunscreen.
Previously I just used Nutox Moisture Emulsion SPF25++ for a year and a half (its a moisturizer, I didn't know any better at the time).
I couldn't get my 3rd bottle cos the Watson ran out of stock so I bought Nutox Solar Block SPF45++(now THIS is sunscreen, I didn't realized it's a sunscreen at the time).
So in a way I was blessed the moisturizer ran out of stock.
I realized that I NEED to use sunscreen everyday when I AM already started wearing sunscreen-accidentally.

But I don't really like the texture cos it gets clumpy when I apply compact powder afterwards, so after the whole tube is finished, I bought Hada Labo Air UV Fresh SPF50+++

Ni best sebab dia sangat light, cepat kering and ok je kalau pakai compact powder afterwards.
Pun ada HA.
Mahal sikit, but I realize sunscreen ni mmg lagi mahal lagi best. *nangis*

But I still don't have a moisturizer.

So I'm back to the stores and online, researching for the perfect moisturizer for me.
Remember I need HA. So far the reviews online, both Asian and Western review and also Anne (that long time room mate of mine) are saying good words on Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel.
So I go and bought it the very next day.
AND THIS FREAKING THING TURNED OUT TO BE MY HOLY GRAIL OF ALL SKINCARE.
THANK GOD FOR THIS!

Turned out HA IS what I need and what I've been missing for my dull and tired looking skin.

I apply it during the day and sometimes at night. I love the balmy feels of the gel, how nyaman it feels against my hot, dry face.
Even on Sunday when I'm at home, I'll re-apply it after my Zohor prayer and my skin feels like having its own air-conditioner.
I will apply it even more if I was wearing make up during the day.

And after few weeks, I can honestly feel the bounciness, my skin feel plumps and even though I still have those pigmentation and large pores, my skin feels smooth and supple. It looked smooth and supple.
Boleh rasa dia macam boink boink okay.
Compared to last time kulit muka rasa nipis dan melekat je dekat cheekbone.

For the night regime I still maintain my Nutox Serum and Night Cream cos I have no reason not to.

So since I already consistent with my cleanse-tone-moisturize-sunscreen routine, I read further for the extras.

Dull and tired looking skin is slowly gone, now I need something for my pores.

And I read a lot from Iman Abdul Rahim's blog , lengthy whatsapp discussion with Anne, and lunch-time chat with Alia (the fresh grad) I bought  some product for pores that I used weekly.

1. The Ordinary Niacinamide
2. Cosrx BHA Blackhead Power Liquid
3. Innisfree Super Volcanic Clay Mousse Mask
4. Laneige Perferct Pore Cleansing Oil (yang ni pakai trial bottle je dulu sebab just nk cuba)

I try to use TO Niacinamide everyday before moisturizer (haven't got around to it yet, bangun pagi selalu rush pergi office)

The other 3 I use every Sunday ikut step from Iman's post. So far baru 2 minggu / 2 kali pakai so belum nampak beza, still there on my nose like I purposely spill black pepper on it.
But it does work on Chaoi after 1 use, yes reading Iman's blog made me use all this on Chaoi as well.
Will blog about this next.

The rest of my skincare is,

1. The Face Shop White Jewel Peeling (I used this once a week to get rid of semua kulit mati)
2. The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin (Ni beli kat Chaoi sebab dia banyak parut jerawat, but sometimes I use it in hope to reduce my pigmentation)

So my daily routine goes like this,

DAILY

AM
1. Hada Labo Cleanser (water based cleanser)
2. Hada Labo Toner
3. TO Niacinamide (serum)
4. Neutrogena Hyrdo Boost (moisturizer)
5. Hada Labo sunscreen

PM

1. Laneige Oil Cleanser (If I wore make up or banyak kena debu/pergi site that day)
 2. Hada Labo Cleanser (water based cleanser)
3. Hada Labo Toner
  4. Nutox Serum or TO Alpha Arbutin
5. Nutox Night Repair Cream

Yang paling kiri tu make-up remover, tersilap beli sebab mula-mula ingatkan dia cleanser.
Tapi bagus jugak sebab dia pun ada HA.

Serum I alternate between TO Alpha Arbutin and Nutox Advanced Serum Repair, ikut mood.

WEEKLY

(SUNDAY ONLY) AM
(Ni totally referring to Iman's post)

1. Cosrx BHA Blackhead Power Liquid (Apply for 20minutes)
2. Innisfree Super Volcanic Clay Mousse Mask (Apply for 10 minutes)
3. Laneige Perfect Pore Cleansing Oil
4. Hada Labo Cleanser (water based)
5. Hada Labo Toner
6. TO Niacinamide (serum)
7. Neutrogena Hyrdo Boost (moisturizer)
8. Hada Labo sunscreen

(WEDNESDAY ONLY) PM
Ni sama je macam malam biasa just tambah scrub untuk buang sel-sel kulit mati.

 1. Laneige Oil Cleanser
 2. Hada Labo Cleanser
 3. The Face Shop White Jewel Peeling (scrub)
 4. Hada Labo Toner
 5. Nutox Serum
 6. Nutox Night Repair Cream

Baru realize kalau tak buang sel-sel kulit mati, pakai lah skincare mahal pun, dia takkan boleh bagi kesan dekat kulit kita.

So there you go,  all the skincare that I use.

We'll see if I managed to improve the appearance of my pores, I know pigmentation is hard to get rid of.

In the future, I will consider using Retinol for the fine lines in my forehead, in the mean time, I want to maintain this routine and see the results after few months.

Till next post!

Before they get famous

When Malaysian talent step up their game, this happens.

I've been putting this song on repeat for the past  3 weeks, after my housemate suggested me to look up for their video on Youtube.

I have never liked a Malaysian group this much in my adult life. (^_^)

"Define success on your own terms, achieve it by your own rule, and build a life you're proud to live"

Best of luck girls!

How to change a standard home fluorescent lamp

The house I currently live in is a bit old so most of it lights, sockets, ceilings, walls, floors, toilet doors, toilet and everything inside will eventually need replacement. I adjusted the toilet water pump lever few weeks ago that causes annoying water dripping but it wasn't a pretty picture so I don't post it here lol.

When the light flicker or not functioning, we normally just buy a new starter or change the tube. No rewiring involve. Just change the freaking things.
This time that's not the case, the tube has burnt on 1 side, and when I tried to change the starter and its casing, the connector on the ballast just crush on the force of my little screwdriver. So the ballast is broken.

This morning I went to the hardware store, buy a new tube, ballast and starter with its casing.

The cooking ingredients.
Love that IKEA adjustable wrench borrowed from my housemate. Small but robust.
I should own one.

Old(top) and new ballast

The connector(yellow thingy) and part of the ballast was brittle and crisp like a Crispy Popiah.

1. So first you connect the starter to its socket.

2. Make sure you connect one of the starter socket wire(white wire) to the ballast connector first (white connector box) before you screw the ballast to its place. See above.

3. The ballast is a bit heavy so you have to screw the metal holder to it tightly on both ends so it wont fall down.

4. The other starter wire(white wire) will goes to the ground (black wire).

5. And the live wire(blue) will connect to other end of the ballast connector. I actually think the other connector is unnecessary though but I just use whatever thing that was already there.
(Somebody correct me if I'm wrong)

6. And then you put on the tube in its base, tighten the support clip and place the starter and its socket to the tube. But that starter should be inside of the lamp instead of outside as in the picture.

And.. DONE!
Not even a single sweat. Took me less then 10 minutes.

Total damage:
Hitachi 32W ring light - RM10
Electronic ballast - RM5
Starter - RM1.50
Starter socket - RM4
Total - RM20.50

If you called a super, he'd probably charge you about RM50 and then WeChat you for no reason after 12pm everyday. T__T

Anywho, practise precaution, before handling any electrical appliances.
Make sure the switch is OFF before you touch/do anything with it.
And if you don't know which wire goes where, just follow any other similar lamp inside the house that is working.

I hope this will help girls out there to solve simple matters like this without expecting other people's help, and some guys too. I mean, not all guys knew these kind of stuffs. That doesn't make them any less of a man, same goes if a girl know these stuffs it won't make them any less of a woman. So, you know, survival skills.

If you want to learn more on how fluorescent lamps work, or other stuffs in your house works, go to this website howstuffworks.com
I always go there for things like these, when my car engine having trouble or even for study/work related matters. Quite useful.

OK it's lunch time, looking at this ring type light makes me want a donut.

To all the single ladies out there

Before you read this post, bear in mind that I actually encourage early marriage.
But this post is intended to single 25 years over girls that are looking to get married but still haven't and couldn't find the right guy.

The problem at hand

Why do you want to get married?
    A. Because everybody my age have got married. Some of them even have few kids already.
    B. Because I don't want him to fall for other girl.
    C. I don't want to be single and alone for the rest of my life.
    D. It's Sunnah

Here are the answer or should I say, an excuse some people give as why they want to get married so bad.

Let me explain why.

Reason A - Because everybody else does.

This is a society pressure that someone at certain age have to get married, if not he/she is a loser.
Normally it's older people who have these kind of thinking, parents, grandparents, relatives and all of that sort.
Marriage is not and achievement. Something you have to do so that people think you are successful or something. It is not.

Most people mindset is that after you obtain your education, you get a job, you buy a car, you get married, have a children, then you should buy a house, bigger car etc etc.
If people didn't live their life according to these order, then they're a loser. They're not successful.
No. Life is like people said, is a canvas. Nobody asked you to paint a tree only, or a cat, or a bowl  of fruit. You can paint whatever the hell you want.
It's your life, you are free to live it your way.

You don't get married because you see all of your friends got married. Sometimes girls they love to see all these beautiful wedding decorations and they started dreaming of their dream wedding and sometimes with the intention of 'my wedding will kick her wedding's ass.'

What do you want is actually a wedding, not a marriage. Please understand that you only get your wedding that one night. But you get your married life for the rest of your life. So if you really want to rub on other people's face about something, make it about your marriage. Not your wedding.

But truly, marriage is NOT a competition.

You get married when you are ready. Not to win some competition.

Marriage doesn't mean you excel in life where single people doesn't.

Marriage doesn't mean happiness. Not all married people are happy 24/7. They have ups and down same as single people. So its basically no difference whether married or single in terms of life quality. It's all up to individual/couple to make their life better.

Reason B - Because I don't want him to fall for other girl.

You don't force a guy to marry you if he's not ready. If he's ready he WILL marry you and be prepared for all the future responsibility. If he's the type who easily fall for other person, then what makes you think marrying you would stop that? He will fall for other person even if you guys're married. So don't make this a reason.

Reason C - I don't want to be single for the rest of my life.

I know being single can be sucks sometimes, because you'll get lonely at times and you have nobody to share same experience and do activities you like with or maybe a shoulder to cry on or just somebody to tell your daily stories to. But bear in mind, there are couples who complaint their bf/husband doesn't listens, doesn't share same interest or even make effort to share their life story with you.

My point is, yes it's lonely at times but sometimes married people do feel lonely too.

You can be happy on your own, you can be happy with a partner, you can also be sad in both situation. Its not definite that if you are unhappy on your own then you will never find a partner. No, because all type of people can meet someone who attracted to their other traits.

I think the point here is that, you have to learn to live on your own first. You cannot expect to get married so that other people can take care of you. Don't be a dependent person. Yes there are certain things we do need help from other people, but there are a lot of things you can handle and solve by your own. Because you are looking for a life partner, not a caretaker.

But you also don't have to be too independent until other people take advantage of you. Everything should be in moderation.

Answer D - It's Sunnah

This is always an excuse by university students in the middle east or any student with religious background who preach but don't really understand what he's preaching.
Yes in Islam, getting married is our Prophet's Sunnah, the pahala/reward is like you build a mosque.
But you have to think back, marriage comes with responsibilities.
If you cannot cater for all the marriage needs, you are not ready to be a wife, a mother and make all the sacrifices you have to make when you get married then it will be a sin all the same.

Mostly the issue is when young people/student get married they didn't have any plans. Problem happens when the girl gets pregnant, then she can't go to class, always sick, have to take frequent leave and it effect their studies.
When the baby is born, now the husband too cannot go to class, now they have to think about money, have to work part time and resort to ask support from parents back home. Imagine the parents already have to support their education and also other siblings education, now they have to support their grandchild too. Haven't we burden our parents enough?

But it's good when the couples know how to plan their married life.
They can go to class together, study together, and excel together and have a kid when they are financially stable and ready to be a parents.

A good reason to get married:
    A. Menghalalkan yang haram.
    B. Because I'm ready.

Answer A - Menghalalkan yang haram.(To permit was is forbidden.)

This is actually why Islam encourage people to get married at young age.
Because after we hit puberty, we will have urges, so to avoid social problems that leads to teenage pregnancies, or rape or to avoid fitnah(slander), parents will find a capable guy and arrange their daughters to marry once they get their period so that he can take care of her. Some even before they get their period. Of course they will not live together until they hit puberty but this is the practice of Muslims at the old times.

Honestly, I like this idea. Not getting married once you get your period, but getting married at young age. In terms of menghalalkan yang haram. The whole thing I said about getting married in university.
For me if we really want to practice this, make marriage easy. If a student find someone suitable during university time, let them get married so that they can do everything together without being fitnah. Noneed for the extravagant ceremony and fancy celebration, that can be done at any point of the marriage. Let them continue uni life as the halal 'boyfriend and girlfriend'. Children can be planned after they finish study and get a job and ready.
The point of making a ceremony is to let people know that you are married. Now is the technology era. If it's just to let people know, just make some nice e-card and tag all the people in your Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
After graduate and get a job, if you can afford it, then its up to you to throw a super fancy wedding reception or the biggest wedding of the year all you like. Whatever you want. Doesn't matter anymore. Because the most important part is done, the haram has been halaled.

But I'm getting out of topic. This post is meant to single mid twenties and above girls who are looking to get married.

So carry on,

Answer B-Because I'm ready.

If you are ready, financially and emotionally and you have someone who you trust to share your life with, no matter if you are 16 years old or 60, then carry on, get married. With good and pure intention, InsyaAllah everything will be ok.

I know at one point everybody have the urges to have children of their own, but only few ever thinks whether they are capable enough to be a good parents. It's not simple you know, it's not just money. You have to raise a human being. Don't be selfish, if you can't be a good parent, you are being unfair to your future child.

Child factor

Being a mother is not only for the first 2 or 3 years of your child's life, its for the rest of your life. Normally from what I see, newlyweds are so excited taking care of their little baby from pregnancy until they were born, then come second child, third child the attention towards the older child became less and life hasn't been as rainbows and butterflies as the early marriage phase. What some people didn't realize, as your children gets older, when physical attention are less needed, the emotional attention have to be increased. Raising children is not a few years job. Its a lifetime job.

I'm getting off topic again this is not a post for parental advice. Back to the topic.
I'm not saying that you shouldn't have children, I'm just saying that you should consider these factors before making decisions.

Greener grass

There are some people who are head over heels in love at young age and think that love is all they need, got married early and then few years later see their still single friends enjoying single life, going places, experience great things while she's at home taking care of kids and started wondering the what ifs and whether or not she made a right decision by getting married too early.

That single friend with money who have all the fun in the world might not be as happy as she thought, while the married people with kids envying all the time and fun the single people can have without having to listen to kids screaming every now and then.

You know, grass is always greener on the other side. Don't do this, there will be time when our grass is greener than other people without we even noticing it.

Considering the odds

Looking at another perspective, statistically speaking, its a known fact that there's more female than male in this world, so there are bound to be women that won't meet their partner in this life.

One of my opinion is that, for those of you who believe the hereafter, God have promised us, all humans are made to be paired. Setiap kejadian itu Allah jadikan berpasang-pasangan.
But God did not mentioned it is only on earth, maybe if it's not on this life, dekat dunia ni, you will find your partner in hereafter, dekat akhirat nanti. Because we believe that our life doesn't ends here on earth only, hidup kita bukan dekat dunia je.There's also hereafter.

Plus if you look at accident statistic or death involving boys or teenagers, these boys all have their own partner written on their life, jodoh yang sudah ditetapkan. It was destined for them to go first and leave their partner behind. And they will meet in hereafter. But this is only my opinion. Only God knows. This is all his work. So who are us to questions God's will.

Not your fault

And don't keep on blaming yourself or saying it must be something wrong with you, it's NOT, it's just how things are. I have a lot of single girl friends who are smart, kind-hearted and successful in their career.
It's just life. Also like I said previously, there's already an unbalance ratio of guys and girl in our country. Then you can be 100% sure its hard to get a quality one among whats left. For an example, I have a single guy friend that if we rate him out of 10, of his career/life achievement, attitude/ maturity, family backround, etc, he's basically a 3. 4 if you consider big and tall as a plus point. But he's kind hearted so I tried to set him up with a girl friend of mine, that I rated an 8. But this 3 guy does not interested with the 8 girl. He's not even trying hard enough, I was like what the hell man? You'd be damn lucky to have her. But that's not how these thing work I guess. So if you do get married in the future, good for you but if you don't, then good for you too. Because you don't want to be like "I don't care if he's less than a 4, I just want to get married."
If you value yourself more, don't settle for less.

The culprit

Another thing to stress out, please, pleaseeeee I beg you, DO NOT watch all the sappy romantic malay dramas on TVs, or read all those crappy teenage love novels at the book stores. All of those make you have high unrealistic expectation on what your love life/married life/future boyfriends/husbands should be. Which is never existed. These dramas and novels are what to girls, as porn to guys. It didn't do you any good. Just leave you feeling unsatisfied with your real life.

Conclusion

My point is, you don't need to be with somebody to be happy. At least plant the idea in your mind so that you won't put too much hope on meeting some prince charming which existence you never truly know off.
It's okay to be on your own. And there's sooooo much thing you can do in this world even if you don't have a husband wrapped around your waist.

Appreciate and enjoy your current situation whether single or married, because you never know when its gonna last. If you're married, make the best of your married life, enjoy your husband and children's company, do everything you can to make them and yourself feels happy.
If you are single, enjoy single life, do all the things you wanted to do, be it whether continue studying, climbing Everest, starting your own bakery, travel, live in another country, do charity works, there's so much this world that God have made for us has to offer, how wasteful it is  if the only thing we care about is how to get a husband :(
Seriously, any other thing, do it. Its your own life.

Married people who tease you for not getting married might actually been jealous of your single life because if someone is contently being married, or happy with their own life for that matter, she doesn't have time to care and judge other people's life.

I hope this post will help all the single people to stop looking for a boyfriend/husband and instead enjoy life and focus on your interest hobbies or career. There's a lot of thing in this world that can give you happiness beyond your expectation. You just have to look for it. This is your life. You are in charge of it. You define your own happiness. Not others.

Good things will come to you when you less expected.
InsyaAllah.

Does love need to be expressed?

*Another old draft.

Okay hold your horses, I'm talking about family love here. Hehe.

I was born the first of 4 child. All other 3 being boys. Being the oldest kid, selalu memang parents tak manjakan sangat lah, onlythe brief 2 years of my life before my first brother was born. At 12 I've already moved to boarding school and I never lived with my family ever since. Just come home for holidays.
So the situation at my house since I left is it's an all boys house. So with boys, my parents may not have the needs to express their love. It's all joking around making funny stuffs around the house.

Sebab saya tengok family yang ada few anak perempuan, the parents are more sensitive, i mean, maybe pendekatan ibu bapa dekat anak lelaki dengan perempuan lain. So parents yang ada anak perempuan ramai lebih menunjukkan kasih sayang, tunjuk kat sini I mean, hugs, panggil sayang, you know, sounds cheesy but at least itu apa yang saya rasa la. Parents saya show their love in other way, like I said, teasing each other, making jokes all the time. And money, kitorang tak pernah la sengkek yang gila-gila. Our dad, takkan pernah lari dengan ayat "kamu ade duit ke?" That's how he show that he love and cared.

Why I realize this is because bila dah masuk universiti, ada sorang dua kawan perempuan yang jenis hugger, jenis suka letak kepala kat bahu, jenis yang macam tu. At first I felt, eh apehal dia ni kan. But lama-lama I felt that was actually very nice. To have human contacts.

And ada pulak jenis makcik-makcik berniaga yang suka panggil orang sayang.

Ada satu hari, saya nak beli nasi lemak, makcik ni tanya,
"Ayam nak bahagian apa sayang?"
And  I was like, Oh God she called me sayang, and I lingers! Pathetic kan..saya saja lengah-lengah kat situ lepas tu senyum sorang-sorang dan balik.
Makcik tu doesn't even mean it, but we can tell dia kind of person yang memang motherly and penyayang.

Then bila masuk office yang saya kerja haritu, I was blessed to meet 2 awesome colleague. Whom I already felt like the sisters I never had, ayat dalam conversation sentiasa ada sayang, laling and everything.

So IMHO I think love needs to be expressed. Kalau sayang mak/anak/sister/partner hug them, brush their hair, call them sweet names. Even though anak da besar. Because for me just saying you love is not enough if you didn't act on it. Don't underestimate human touch. You guys agree?

Happy Malaysia Day!

Here's my Malaysia Day themed outfit.
Hehe, actually xperasan pun until my roomie pointed out.

Blue MNG shirt.
Pink skinny pants, forgot where I bought it.
Yellow clutch from Kitschen

Oh and my favourite Forever 21 necklace.

So, I went to watch Grown Ups 2. Hillarous I kid you not. Go watch it.
What else to say, work is good, social life's a bit boring.
To sum it up, everything is dull and repetitive.
Trying to find a way out of this vortex before I woke up and realize i'm almost 50 years old. T_T
So, till next time!

February update

Watching football nowadays is a bit tricky because we don't have TV and internet in the house.
And some of my Cyber friends already move out elsewhere and MMU friends still on their sem break so I don't really have anybody to watch football with and I'm too kesian to force my housemate to teman me watch football at 12 midnight. Since we already went to Big Bad Wolf and pusing-pusing The Mines earlier on.

So last night was the new level of watching football for me where I went to the mamak alone to watch the derby. Determined borderline pathetic kinda. I don't really care. A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do rite. =P
The mamak around the house is fairly new to me so xde la segan sangat sebab semua stranger. If mamak Cyber memang xpegi la kan sorang-sorang tengok bola segan gila okeh.

So first mamak full already. No more seat, I go to second mamak. Dah la xda wifi. agak scary but tempat lapang so a bit convincing. Kereta boleh park dekat so jadi apa-apa boleh lari terus.

Takmau cerita pasal game.

So at the end of the game, nak bayar milo ais, mamak tu cakap da ada orang bayar kan. Probably kesian tengok saya datang sorang-sorang lepas tu kalah pulak. So dia belanja, tak tau lah sapa. So siapa-siapa yang tolong belanja thank you ye..=)

Tobat lepas ni memang xkan kelua sorang-sorang da.hahaha

At the moment, just some pictures from February up till now.
