Pangkor island Trip

Second leg of my September holiday will be Pangkor Island with my family on 13-15 Sept.
This trip happened when my second brother who were on his sem break ask us family to spent time on an Island before he went back to Jordan on the 18th. I have been scouring the internet about Koh Lipe,Thailand at the time, straight away suggested this to my parents and unfortunately got a rejection from my dad. Well if you read my blog enough, you'd realize how my dad feels about holiday. I started to think that he despises holidays and his idea of holidays are anywhere behind his backyard.T_T
Then he suggested Pangkor.
Literally our backyard.
T__________T

It's not that I don't like Pangkor. It's just, my family have been living in the North of Malaysia since I'm 8years old. Pangkor, Langkawi, Penang are all the places we've covered along the time, over and over again. Pangkor is like an hour an a half from our Kamunting house.

If my brother would like to travel to an Island from Jordan, he could've taken a flight from Amman and landed on Cyprus within 1hour 15minutes.
Instead he came back to Malaysia and go to Pangkor.

Well, it's just a plain comparison, I'm still looking forward to Pangkor though.

So Now, I recap Pangkor.

My parents and two younger brothers came from our house in Kamunting while me and my brother were from Shah Alam. The 4 of them arrived around 12pm while me and my brother reached Marina Island around 6pm, waited the ferry for about 30-45minutes, took a ferry and reach the island 10 minutes later.
The ferry was huge though that carry twenty.. thousand people on board.

Its a closed ferry with air-cond and with that amount of people I cant help but getting a little claustrophobic.

But its a short 10minutes ride so I get over it.

From the jetty we  took a pink vans that are the main transportation in Pangkor to the hotel my dad booked in Teluk Nipah cost RM15.
The van is good for 6 to 8 people but even its just me and my brother they will just go.

So we stayed at Pangkor Beach Resort. Quite nice for family accommodation and right opposite the Teluk Nipah Beach. But again the people are like, thirty thousand there.
