May

I finally started weiight training with a trainer this May. Focusing on deadlifts and squats as suggested by Hooper's Beta. Folowed the reps and sets from there while having the trainer teach me the correct form. I started 2 times a week Tuesdays and Saturdays on top of climbing 5 times a weeks. (Rest on Thursday and Sundays.) Without realizing the aftermath of deadlift. I felt like I’ve been hit by a bus on the next day(Wednesday) 😅 that’s supposed to be my lead endurance day. 

So I climbed really poorly on Wednesdays and some Wed I can’t even start a route and just belayed others the entire day. 

Then I got frustrated for my very low quality climbing sessions, cried 😅, contemplating about the deadlifts again for the whole month and then my friends told me about DOMS. 

So trying to adjust the frequency and the timing again. We'll se how it goes.
