Another way out

RVP's decision to NOT extending his contract, though hurtful to read at first was actually quite understandable and somewhat expected.

1.Wenger bought 2 freakin huge strikers already (Podolski and Giroud)
   That news already screamed replacement! but we refused to believe that.
2. He's 28. He want to win something. So he says.

Well, a player's form is not planned, or designed by the player. form just happened.. and in RVP's case, last season 2011/2012. So he could not (yet) claim that he's a world class player and he deserve to be in a certain world class club.

If you remember, RVP is quite fragile, he's injured most of the time in previous season and last season is the only season that  he really REALLY peaked. One thing about peak is that, they goes down after and the thing about form is that, it's not permanent.

I don't want to badmouth every player who wants to leave, he DID play a huge role in last season campaign. Dragging the team up. 
I just don't think he's the kind of striker who'll be well suited someplace else, his place is Arsenal.
But like I said, he's decision is understandable.

On the hand i say how can someone who has spent 7 out of 8 seasons on the treatment table at Arsenal, had 1 great season last year, then go on to say he wants out seem a bit wrong but on the other i can't blame him.

Arsenals' best player will not leave. Arsenal has good players that will take the sit.

I am not an Arsenal fan but I feel RVP's best place was Arsenal. I am not optimistic he will do any better elsewhere.

Euro Talk: Group Stage

To be honest, kalau korang fan EPL, agak slow sikit nak ikut  international matches, sebab your original players yang korang support dalam team EPL korang dah spread ke bermacam negara, so for me, mana ade player Arsenal saya tengok. Euro ni bagus sebab, sementara tunggu season EPL baru start, atleast ada game bola untuk ditengok malam-malam.=P

Croatia
Tiada player Arsenal.
Kalau cakap Croatia je ingat Davor Suker World Cup 1998. Sekarang dah takde player yang betul-betul menyerlah. Player yang familiar (for me) Modric, Srna, Jelavic, Kranjcar. Oh and Eduardo. So far tempat kedua in Group C. Tapi saya still rasa Spain and Italy yang akan move on to the next stage.

Czech Republic
Arsenal Player: Tomas Rosicky(Captain)
Selain Rosicky, diorang ada Petr Cech(Chelsea) dan Milan Baros(Galatasaray) yang lain saya tak tahu sangat. Pilar antara player dorang yang menyerlah Euro kalini, dah 2 game dia score. Sekarang di tangga kedua group A, sekali dengan Russia, Poland dan Greece. Semua ada player Arsenal kecuali Greece. So sapa2 masuk knock out stage pun saya tak kisah.hehe

Yang ni tricky. I love those 2 Arsenal players. Tapi dalam team tu jugak ada Rooney..T_T Terry, Joe Hart, Ashley Cole, lescott.. LESCOTT..*nangis*

Walaupun my feeling about England is meh..tapi bila tengok impact Walcott bila dimasukkan as a sub ganti Milner semalam, somehow saya rasa sangat bangga. Puas hati. Haha. bak kata Roy Hodgson, 
"I can say I made the right decision because he scores one and he made one."

Then credit jugak to Welbeck sebab creative utilize kan Walcott punya cross.
And I do think Walcott deserves that, dia pun selalu kena critic dengan his international team. It's about time he prove he can do something for his country. Bagus untuk confidence dia bila season EPL baru start nanti.hehe
Saya pun tak kisah sangat England through ke next stage atau tak..Tapi macam France and England yang akan through dalam Group D ni.

 Lama dah tak sokong France sejak zaman Henry,Trezeguet, Zidane,Pires,Petit Viera. Just to name a few.
Sekarang tak suka, sebab ada Na$ri, Evra. Tapi ada Cabaye dengan Ben Arfa. Tapi tak kisah la..Diorang confirm through punya.

Germany
Arsenal Player: Per Mertesacker and Lukas Podolski
Germany is the clear favorite in this tournament. Semua star star belaka.
So I hope to see agood match. Kalau menang bagus, tak menang pun okay. Dorang memang dah sedia bagus.=D

Greece
Arsenal Player: None
Team yang saya ingat sebab nama player yang unik. Player lebih kurang sama masa World Cup 2010 dulu. Gekas is one of the player yang saya ingat previous previous punya world cup pun dia dah ada. Maybe wont pass the group stage.

Italy
Arsenal Player:None

Dulu time world cup player Italy semua tough mens. Skarang pun ada tough man Balotelli *roll eyes* Cannavaro,Quagliarela, Camoranesi semua dah xde. So..saya tak kisah.

Sayang, banyak star, tapi takde chemistry. Robben selfish, Schneider senyap, Affelay tak menjadi, Robin pun tak dapat banyak chance..but I still wish somehow game malam esok lawan Portugal, dorang boleh menang besar, and go through next round. hahaha tinggi cita-cita.:P

Arshavin has been crucial to his country this Euro. Different with his time with Arsenal last season. So incase next season Arshavin dah tak main dengan Arsenal, I want to see him stay longer in this tournament.

This is not zaman Sweden masa ada Larsson(Henrik) and Ljunberg. As much as I used to love Ibrahimovic, he couldn't sail the ship alone. Mungkin keluar awal jugak.

Ukraine
Arsenal Player: None
Another co-host. Walaupun tak banyak player terkenal, (Kecuali Shevchenko)tapi semangat co-host maybe boleh pull them through. But I still think France and England yang akan move on.

Tournament kali ni takde sotong atau apa-apa haiwan lain yang akan guess sape akan menang. So mari kita predict sendiri. Saya predict Netherlands!

It has been an outstanding season for him.

I really hope he'll manage to get the golden boot this season.

I'm a bit concerned since Rooney already closed the gap with only one goal difference. Hope he'll find his scoring form again in the remaining 3 matches.

Saya sepatutnya pergi basuh kain ni. Tapi tadi baru berkesempatan tengok balik highlight match Arsenal Newcastle Isnin lepas yang saya ambik dari hostel semalam. So tulis malam ni, esok baru publish kat opis.

Best gila okay match tu. Tau da dekat seminggu lambat tapi kasi can saya tulis kat sini okay. Kesian saya da la tak dapat tengok.Sobs.

Yang membuatkan match tu best sebab goal Ben Arfa sangat superb. Memang terkedu jugak la beberapa saat. Saat je lah sebab lepas tu Captain RVP balas balik dengan goal yang taknak kalah gak gempak dia. Haha. Memang puas hati. Sorry la Ben Arfa. Your amazing goal have been cancelled out. Newcastle main memang bagus malam tu considering. Defend diaorang, Tim Krul. Demm Tim Krul. The only thing they don’t have that night is Thomas Vermaelen. Hahaha..

Commentator tu kata Vermaelen is an unlikely hero, tapi bagi saya takde la berapa unlikely sangat, fan suma tau, dia rajin naik kalau dia rasa ada peluang, masa2 desperate macam game ni. Dia akan try cari jalan jugak sampai minit2 terakhir. That is why he’s Vice Captain. Semangat dia smpai habis game. Macam game malam tu, da masa tambahan, he got nothing to lose, so naik atas stengah padang then bola RVP ngam2 sampai kat kaki dia. Terus rembat masuk dengan kaki kanan.

Special thing was  - noted that this is one of the main reason why I love watching football so much - is the player’s and their teammate reaction everytime they scored. Memang puas hati gila and proud gila. Lepas habis game tu dia follow je mana RVP pergi haha. You can see proudness on his face when he got to score the winning goal and to score alongside Van Persie. And also you can see his admiration towards the captain. He is so damn proud of himself that night it’s written all over his face. 

-So 4 consecutive come from behind, an EPL record.
-5 back to back win.

-RVP da macam sure dapat golden boot season ni.

-Third place is still in the running.

See, somehow a worst start of the season can turn into a somewhat not that bad ending, well still early but I choose to look at the bright side of things. Cewah.:P

And we will go to the next season dengan player2 baru, experienced and young. Podolski or no Podolski, I think this current team is capable enough. Hee. So itu je lah. I’ve got laundry to do. Let’s hope for a win against Everton this Wednesday (which saya tak dapat tengok again) and another win against Aston Villa on Saturday (Which I CAN watch)

Sesi Berjalan

So, harini berjalan ke KLCC cari penyakit buku. Jauh kan cari buku. Sebab rasa macam Kinokuniya lagi banyak choice untuk meghabiskan voucher. Si Azue nak pergi Sogo and Jalan Masjid India and si Diana pulak tengah rajin berjalan. So sampai lah ke sana. 

First order of business - Makan. Sebab semalam nya dinner pukul 6petang. Pagi tak breakfast. Sampai KLCC around 11.45am.  Kesian perut. So pergi Ben's. Diana cakap sedap. So kitorang pun termakan hasutan Diana dan makan di situ.

Best tempat dia. Mintak duduk sebelah tingkap boleh skodeng orang tengah relax-relax kat kolam/tasik KLCC tu.

My drinks - Garden Spritzer (or something..)

My food - Spaghetti Carbonara.

biase je. xdelah sedap sampai nangis.

Azue's - Thai.. something something

Azue complaint sedikit masin.

Diana's - Seafood err..something.

God I'm bad at this, no more food entry next time.:P

Dekat Ben's ni semua waiter, takde waitress. Service bagus la. Boleh dipuji.

Pergi kat Section Electrical Engineering.Walaupun da bes blaja. Mane lah tau time-time keje nanti perlu refer buku ke. Tapi buku-buku Engineering mana ada murah-murah. Semua from RM300 - RM700. So saya buat-buat nak beli je la. 

Ni rasanya RM400 something kot.

Lepas tu jumpa language section. Yesss. Nampak series ni. RM119-RM189. Best jugak siap dengan audio.

Takpe jalan lagi.

Rambang gila mata. Azue dengan Diana dah give up so diorang keluar dulu. Sudahnye saya amik

Then pergi lah beratur. Sampai conuter dia cakap "Beratur dari belah sane ek". Salah lane rupanya. Okay lah, salah saya jugak. Nak cepat takut dorang tunggu. So tak perasan. Patutlah lane tu lain macam je sikit orang. Terus rasa kalau ada cengkerang nak masuk dalam cengkerang. Lane beratur pun taktau. Anak sapa lah ni. 

So saya pergi lane yang betul. Panjang pulak. Takpela. Beratur. Da sampai counter akak tu cakap kena pergi verify pulak voucher tu dulu. Counter belakang sana dekat dengan comic section. Ler. Pulak. Penat saya beratur tau.

Saya pun menurut perintah pergi lah cari comic section. Lagi panjang dari tadi queue dia. Tak pelah beratur je lah. Bila sampai turn saya, akak situ pulak cakap "Verify dekat COUNTER SEBELAH ye". 

Which is 3 kali lagi panjang dari lane tadi. 

You've gotta be kidding me..T_T..

Rasa nak makan orang je time tu. So saya yang tahap toleransi dah tinggal satu bar je tu terus keluar dari section. Cari trolli. Letak barang. Dan keluar cari Diana dengan Azue. Lain kali lah beli.

Nak dapat benda free ni memang banyak sikit songeh dia. Lain kali pergi time weekdays la. Tak ramai sangat orang.

Lepas tu pergi Sogo. Parking sebelah bangunan Mara tu dan jalan kaki pegi Jalan Masjid India semua. Malangnya handphone dah habis baterry, tak boleh amik gambar lagi. Sekarang ni asyik nak habis battery je kerja dia. Mungkin hint suruh beli Sensasion XL kot.(^_^)

Easily amused.

Jenuh saya cari mana 'Best Man' yang dimaksudkan. 

Esok jalan dengan family pulak. Hee. Ai yem a happy bunny.

Lookalikes: RVP and Ben Affleck?

I watched He's Just Not That Into You again earlier tonight.

I always thought Ben Affleck and Robin Van Persie have a slight resemblances that I can't quite point my finger at. 

But when I put their pictures side by side, they're not that alike. 

Is it the chin?

Or the nose?

Or maybe the similarities are just in certain angle, little movements or some facial expressions.

Manchester City 1 - 0 Arsenal

Well that was one of the 'satisfying' lost I've seen this season.

It was a great game. 

Kalah pun puas hati.

I wore the red jersey proudly today.

I do believe that's a penalty there.
But it's okay, football is all about the refs making shitty decisions anyway.

He was denied by Joe Hart(and the assistant ref) last night.

One was a rather tame header earlier in the match and two shocker from outside the box at end.

When he goes forward he's as good as any of the strikers - MOTD commentator.

That was his expression after Vice Captain Hero's shot was few inches wide at the end of the match.
